Founded in 1943, Sanko Textile is part of Sanko Holding, one of Turkey’s leading corporation. The company is vertically integrated – from yarns to circular knitting to dyeing. It employs 2,500 people and runs 450 circular knitting machines.
Daily production capacities are 250 tons of twisted and processed yarns, 80 tons of undyed knits, and 25 tons of dyed knits. Sanko Textile is extremely innovative and develops cotton based shapewear and performance fabrics, other cutting-edge knit structures and finishing. The company manufactures both stretch and rigid knits in a variety of products including simple and double knits, ribbing, interlocks, and piqués, as well as polar fleece, terry cloth, and velours. Sanko Textile also offers a large range of quality materials: cotton, Supima, polyester/cotton blends, Modal and MicroModal, viscose, Tencel, silk, and more.
Collections are organised by markets: lingerie and intimate apparel, loungewear/homewear, activewear, and children’s wear. Sanko also presents an eco-responsible collection with fabrics in organic cotton and in recycled polyester. The business is Oeko-Tex, STeP, GOTS, and ISO 9000 certified.
Sanko Textile exports around the world and is experiencing strong growth in Europe, particularly in France, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
