This mid-sized, family-owned business near Lyon was established in 1936. Jabouley, a French company, manufactures Raschel and Jacquard laces as well as tulles. All of its products are made locally, in its workshop.
The permanent collection includes 350 references in trims and allovers, in both rigid and stretch. Each item has its own colour range and is kept in stock. When sold out, greige goods from buffer stock are sent to the dyeing unit to maintain availability. This allows Jabouley to accept exceptionally low minimum orders. Jabouley analyzes and sets up bespoke product development projects to satisfy customers’ needs or bring their creative ideas to life. The company is also open to making items from its collection available on an exclusive basis.
Half of its business is generated by the lingerie market (Dim, Lejaby, Chantelle, Pain de Sucre, and others) and the other half by the ready-to-wear sector (Sandro, Maje, Tara Jarmon, and others). Jabouley is active in key countries via a network of independent sales representatives that stay in close touch with their customers throughout the year. Exports account for half of sales. Jabouley has been granted Oeko-Tex and REACH certifications.
