A.E.T., a French family company founded in 1997, is specialised in the development and production of plain and fancy circular and warp knitted fabrics for the ready-to-wear, lingerie, swimwear, and leisurewear markets as well as industrial clients. This very dynamic and innovative company currently reports €2 million in turnover.
A.E.T. manufactures 90 percent of its products in France at its factory near Lyon and with business partners in the Rhône department. Certain speciality products are made in Spain. Export activity, which is experiencing strong growth, accounts for 15 percent of sales. To face new challenges on social and environmental responsability, AET is developping 100% French made products. It includes a range of natural raw materials with a positive environmental impact.
The company stands out with its diverse offer and top quality: yarn dyed and piece dyed fabrics, plains and stripes, jacquards and laces, pointelle knits and meshes, jerseys and ribbed knits, fleeces and flannels, and more. A.E.T.’s wide choice of materials includes fabrics with and without elastane (linen, cotton, organic cotton, viscose (Modal, Tencel), recycled polyester, polyamide, polypropylene, lurex, etc.). The company also handles all sorts of finishings and treatments: dyeing, digital and traditional printing techniques, burn-outs, sequins, flocking, embossing, brushing, emerising, shearing, lacquering, bonding, and coating to name just a few.
Each year A.E.T. presents two collections which are created and finalised by the Kiesto-Ancora design office. The company’s creative team can meet every special request from its client-partners and work with them to develop customized, exclusive projects.
